Weird mid Print layer Shifts

#1

I use Moai to print dental models. Sometimes if sliced below 100um i got those strange massive layer shiftings. Resin used is Nex Resin.

The Print on the fotos was Sliced with Asura 2.2.2 60um layer height.
Would be great if someone had me a tip how to avoid those print failures.

thanks

i will get some basic data like printing temperature from you.

I also want to ask @matt3o to see what is the best way to check mesh as there may be isisues.

it is also best show the original model file in Asura so we can see how the print is set up

such sudden shift is likely not software but mechanical, can you double check to make sure screws and peel mechanism are well secured:

I’d need to see how those are printed (orientation/supports/etc) and possibly the gcode. A wireframe would also help.

It could be very likely mechanical, but it could also be a problem with the card reader.

I exchanged the vat. Tried another print. Sliced with Cura 100um. The results are the same. Moai did fine for about 1 year :(. The Axis from door to back is distorted (don’t know if it’s x or y), The printed models are smaller than the original ones.
