New Phenom L z-axis Arm Stuck

The new Phenom L I purchased yesterday ran into an issue. While following the set up, the arm was moving properly. When I tried to print something, the Z-axis arm stopped working. When trying to move the arm, the motor rattles violently and it does not move up or down. When I turn the printer off, I can raise the arm by hand no problem.

Here’s a video of it shaking violently when trying to move up or down:

Does anyone have any ideas about this issue?

Sorry to hear your question, please check if the screw of the coupling is loose?

Hello Peopoly,

I tried tightening the “Z-axis Motor link check” screws and they’re all at maximum. It did not work.

Check whether the screw of the L advance motor is loose.

I have gotten this problem resolved. It turned out the motherboard was fried on arrival.

You are great, can you share broken pictures? In order to find out what caused it to burn out. Thank you

I don’t know, as my supplier 3dprintingcanada dealt with the issue.
