Galvo module problem

#1

Hey guys, I meet some problems with the galvo module
https://drive.google.com/open?id=10cBpuePvW9KhgFoZ116H0IJ_-0KX_Ic3

It worked fine last week until my labmate told me some weird sound showed up while printing.
The mirror of X-axis is not moving anymore and the circle test became a line
I’m not sure it is because of the motor or other things
Can anyone give me some suggestions?
If I need to buy a new one, where should I contact?

Thanks

Peopoly sells galvos on their website if you need to buy a new.

Hello Shawn,

to find out if the galvo is defective, swap the cables (1), when the moai is switched off and then do the circle test.

The driver or the motherboard may also be defective.

If you swap the Galvo Data cable (2), you can test the motherboard.

Hi guys, thanks for the suggestions
I tried to change the power and data cables
Y-Galvo works totally fine and the X-Galvo sometimes could rotate and some times not, and when it rotates comes with a weird sound
I think its the Galvo module instead of the mother board so I’ll contact peopoly to get a new module

Thanks!

Hello Shawn,

has the X-Galvo after the cable exchange (1: X Galvo Power on the Y-driver) works normally?
