Formlabs Durable Resin - prints failing

Parts of the print keep sticking to the pdms. Once it ripped up the pdms. The part prints fine with all of the peopoly resins. ive tried higher laser power by a few notches but it still fails the same way. Anyone had success with Durable resin? What settings should i change?

Hello, thank you for reaching out. Formlabs resin is normally a bit thicker than the resin we make. It is going to take some experimenting to figure out. I know a lot of users on here have had some success with it and it should work just fine in the Moai.

There are a few things that can help with your issues but might not be the “end all be all” solution.

  • Place a heater in your Moai.
  • Get the FEP Vat.

Both of these will improve your success with printing many different types of resin.

Hope this helps.

I have the heater but i guess ill wait to print with this material again till i try the FEP vat. I dont know why i didnt think of trying that before. Thank You
